Google has released the 'Call Screen' feature, designed to help screen spam calls or incoming calls from unknown sources by initiating a preliminary conversation before notifying the call recipient.

Call Screen is a Google feature available on Pixel smartphones, and it utilizes AI to identify spam calls by analyzing the caller's speech or cross-referencing the caller's information with Google's database. If a call is determined to be spam or from an automated response system, it is instantly rejected. For non-spam calls, users will see a transcript of the caller's message and can choose to accept or decline the call.

Google has recently improved the effectiveness of this feature, now capable of rejecting up to 50% more spam calls. However, this function is currently available in select countries, including the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

Those eager to try this feature may need to own a Pixel smartphone. As for Thailand, it's expected to become available in the near future.
